Eva and Mandy – the current owners as of April 2006 – are Vancouver transplants who have embraced Okanagan country living. The locals are have been overwhelming supportive and welcoming.

Both owners come to the Village Grounds from very different careers. Eva has a background in plant biology and formally worked for the environmental non-profit association Evergreen and the City of North Vancouver on stewardship conservation. Mandy is the manager of the folk group The Be Good Tanyas and ran her music management company for a decade.
